Process requirements for explosion-proof flame arresters

view :

The process requirements for explosion-proof flame arresters are strict and should meet the following technical requirements:

A. The shell should be made of cast iron, aluminum alloy, cast steel, and stainless steel materials according to the medium used;

B. The casting size of the shell must meet the specified requirements;

C. The shell castings must not have defects such as cracks, shrinkage holes, sand holes, and damage that affect their strength during use;

D. The shell should undergo a water pressure test according to the specified pressure, and can only be used after passing the test;

E. The flame arrester with corrugated structure is processed with steel strip, which should be bright and free of rust and oil stains;

F. The flame retardant layer should be tightly intertwined and not loose. The surface of the flame retardant layer should be flat, smooth, and free of burrs;

G. The pore size on the flame retardant layer should be completely uniform and consistent, without blockage, ensuring that each pore is unobstructed;

H. The flame retardant layer should be installed inside the shell without shaking, the contact surface should be tightly bonded, and there should be no pores around it;

I. The assembled flame arrester should undergo a flame retardant performance test according to regulations.
